Latest decisions by Pakistan Government against Coronavirus

Coronavirus is getting out of hand in Pakistan. The number of cases is about to cross 1100. In order to control this Pakistan Government took solid decisions about city lockdown and soft curfew. Taking into consideration the current condition the government took more strict decisions.

As the holidays for school students has already been extended. But today federal minister of education announced that all private colleges and universities will also be closed up to 31 May. Shafqat Mehmood said “National Coordination Committee on the recommendation of Interprovincial Education Ministers meeting today has ordered the closure of ALL education institutions in the country till May 31. This includes public and private schools, colleges, universities, & madaris”

In another tweet, he talked about the poor quality of online teaching is already in their notice. 

Namaz Jummah is also an issue about corona as people avoid going to the mosque in order to avoid gathering. However, In a recent meeting, Ulma-e-Islam decided that Jummah will be offered in the mosque with a limited number of people. It was also announced earlier that people with age above 50 should avoid offering namaz in Mosque.

As even big power of the world failed to fight against coronavirus. Pakistan government already seek a 3.7 billion dollar loan in order to tackle this situation. PM Imran Khan said that the government can not cope with the situation solely. But in a recent all parties online conference meeting he went offline without listening to opposition. In this critical situation, this act of Prime Minister Imran Khan is not appreciated by fellow politicians.
